There are many questions to consider when selecting any advocate for you, including an attorney.
"Do I have a case?" This is how most initial telephone calls end. I often thought I should write a book on some of the more interesting fact patterns where people have wondered if they have a case. I've had people ask me if they can sue a raccoon for causing them to fall or if they can sue the government for the secret messages they were being sent through the radio waves. In both instances--they did not have a case.
But a bad perm causing 2nd degree burns? Falling on the rough of a golf course causing a trimalleolar fracture? Dropped glass resulting in tendon surgical repair? These are all cases I did take and achieved a successful result for my clients. The most important question to ask if you have a case is if there was another party that was negligent, or careless, which resulted in you getting injured significantly.
I am always happy to receive your calls if you have questions on whether you have a case. Whether or not I take your case, I will always be courteous and respectful as I would want to be treated. I will give you my reasons if I do not accept your case and my advice as to other possible resolutions.

I attended a fantastic Continuing Legal Education Program entitled "Social Media In Litigation". Defense attorneys are attempting to "mine" information from social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to dispute an injured plaintiff's case. This rapidly changing field will have a tremendous effect on personal injury actions. If you have any questions on this topic or your personal injury case, please contact Paul for a free consultation.

The parents of a teenager from Michigan who was killed in a 2014 drunk driving accident have filed a lawsuit against the people who gave the driver who caused the accident alcohol. The lawsuit alleges that the parents of the driver provided him with alcohol that led to the fatal accident. The crash took place when the intoxicated teen went over the median and crashed into the plaintiffs' son's car. Two teens were killed in the crash and a third survived.
